Frequently Asked Questions

We are so excited that you are visiting our website. We know there are lots of questions involved. How do I get started? What is the process? Are they vaccinated? Let’s answer some questions!

Lets Get

Started

Will my puppy be vaccinated?

Yes, all our puppies are dewormed and vaccinated.

Do you have a health guarantee?

Yes, we do have a 2 year health guarantee as part of our final contract. If you’d like to see the puppy contract before buying your puppy, you can email us at hello@bubblingspringsdoodles.com or use our Contact Form.

How do I get my puppy if I am out of state?

If you live a far distance and can not drive to pick up your puppy, we can discuss ground transport.  The options are ground transport, flight nanny transport (under certain circumstances, I will fly your puppy to you), fly as cargo – this is a last resort option, or we can meet within 2-3 hours of my address. I have numerous reputable people that I can recommend for delivering your puppy to you by ground or air. The cost of grounds is usually around $400-$600. The cost for a flight (cargo) is usually $450 (this is subject to change and is not an exact estimate).  Flight nanny cost would be provided to you on a case by case basis.  I would need to get a quote for air and ground, to be exact on the price.

What sizes and colors do you offer?

There is no guarantee that I will have a specific color in a specific sex of puppy. If you are set on color and/or sex, your deposit can roll over to another litter.

What forms of Payment do you accept?

We accept payments via Square.

For reservation spots 1 and 2 the reservation fee is $518.00.  All other spots are $414.00.  (NOTE: The $14 for the $400 and $18.00 for $500 fee is a service charge for using Square).

How much do your puppies cost?

All of our Bernedoodles are $4,000.  I do not charge extra for a certain sex or color. We do have first and second pick available for an additional fee mentioned below.

How much is the reservation fee?

The $414 reservation fee is non-refundable. If you decide you would like one of the top 2 spots on our lists that reservation fee is $518.   Both fees go towards the purchase price of your puppy.  (NOTE: the amount that will go towards the puppy is either $400 or $500.  The service charge for using Square doesn’t go towards the purchase price of the puppy).  Please visit our How to Reserve page for more details.

When is final payment due?

Final Payment is due at pick up unless your puppy is being transported via ground transport, then the final amount, plus sales tax and transport cost, is due no later than 7 days before your puppy is scheduled to leave our premises.

There is also a 6% PA sales tax that is added to the final cost.

Do you allow home visits?

All families purchasing a Bubbling Springs puppy will be asked to select their puppy around 4 weeks old.  You will have access to individual and litter videos, ENS and ESI results, meeting with Allison and the puppies via video chat (Facetime, Google Meet, or Skype), and/or phone communication with Allison at this time she can go over all of the notes that she took as she has been caring for them.  She will also go over the trends she is seeing iin regards to their size and temperaments.  She would also be happy to show you the parent dogs at this time.

At this time in home visits for selections is not in the best interest of our puppies or our parent dogs.  Due to the following reasons:

Families may have unknowingly come in contact with an Unvaccinated Dog – this can lead to unnecessary and extremely harmful exposure on our property of parasites and diseases that will then transfer to our puppies on shoes, clothing, or hands.  Our puppies are just like a newborn baby their immune systems are not fully developed until they are fully vaccinated (around 16 weeks old).

Remember: Just because a dog has been vaccinated doesn’t mean they haven’t picked up something on their muzzle or paws along their travels. It won’t affect them because they are already vaccinated, but it puts our puppies at risk if you bring it in on your clothes or shoes when you visit.

When can I select my puppy?

You are welcome to select your puppy starting at three weeks old.  I spend so much time with my puppies, so if I feel that a certain puppy’s temperament is better suited for you and your family’s needs, I will be sure to let you know.  It is very important that we keep an open line of communication during the puppy selection process so that I am able to help your family find exactly the right puppy!

Do you Have a waitlist and How do your Waitlist Spots work?

For most of our litters, yes we do!  The first two spots will remain open on every waitlist.  If we are not holding back a puppy or puppies from a litter, we will open up those spots to families with service/therapy/ES/facility dog applications, or families that want a specific sex or color of puppy.  The first spot is $6,000 and the second selection spot is $5,000.  Spots 3-6 are for families that want a loveable puppy and aren’t set on color and/or sex.  These spots will be the normal pet price of $4,000.

I reserved my puppy but I'm not ready yet, what do I do?

You are able to defer your spot on our waitlist.  However, this must be done within 48 hours of receiving the email that welcomes the litter you are on the waitlist for.  If this is not done, you will lose your reservation fee.  Your reservation fee is good for 3 deferments.  After that, you will lose your waitlist fee and will have to place another waitlist fee to get on another list.

Can you guarantee that we will get a puppy from a specific litter?

I can’t guarantee heat cycles or successful pregnancies. I want a healthy, successful pregnancy just as much as you do; however, nature doesn’t always allow this. For that reason, waitlist fees are non-refundable but can be rolled over to another litter. I can guarantee you will get a puppy. I just can’t guarantee timing.

What food Do you feed your puppies?

Please visit the shop page for links to the food we feed. The food is called Paw Tree.  We feed the Chicken and Oatmeal formula.

Will our puppy be crate trained?

All puppies will be started on crate training. It is up to you and your family to build on the foundation we started. Puppies will not be perfect and can have accidents. It is best to be patient and consistent with further crate training.

Will we get photos and videos of our puppy as they grow up?

Yes! I will update our social media with photos and/or videos of your puppy while they are growing up so, you can enjoy watching him/her grow.

Will our puppy be microchipped?

No. We let the owners decide if they want their puppy microchipped. If so, microchipping is available for an extra $45.00. You can then register the microchips through AKC Reunite for an additional charge. Please let me know if you would like this option.

I'm ready to reserve a puppy, what do I do?

First, you need to fill out the puppy application if you haven’t already. Then you will need to fill out the Reservation Agreement.  The password to the Waitlist Agreement page is: reserve. Then, once you’ve filled out the waitlist agreement, you can send your reservation fee via Square. Go to the How To Reserve page for more Info.

Do you have safety protocols to protect my puppy’s immature immune system while in your care?

Although our puppies are exposed to all kinds of activities and human interaction during their time within our home, we still need to be very careful about keeping our puppies safe. There are canine diseases that, when passed on to a puppy, are quite often lethal. We strive to eliminate this risk as much as possible by creating a safe, bio-secure environment for our puppies.
